How this was counted

Every 311 request with the reason "Traffic or Parking Sign Damaged or Missing" since May 1, 2023 from the City's 311 Calls data, refreshed daily, with the status the City lists for each one ("Pending" or "Closed"). A pending status means the City's record hasn't been closed; it doesn't prove a sign is still down, and some may have been fixed without the record being updated. The category covers traffic signs as well as parking signs. Reports without a location are left out of the neighborhood counts. Pothole figures are the same 311 data, reason "Pothole", over the same dates. Neighborhoods are the City's 72 official ones.
