Terms of Service
Version 1.4 · Effective 27 October 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and Art Tech Media Group LLC. By using Easy Lane, including the website, the app, the MCP server, the widget and any API, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use Easy Lane. Sections 11 and 12 limit what you can recover from us, so please read them.
1. Who you are agreeing with
Easy Lane is operated by Art Tech Media Group LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("we", "us").

2. No warranty of accuracy
Easy Lane makes no warranty that anything it shows you is accurate, complete, or current. Curb rules come from City of New Orleans open data, which the City itself publishes without any guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Easy Lane relays that data and adds no guarantee of its own. Rules change, signs get moved, and data lags reality. Event times, closures, lot rates, alerts, sign readings and reports from other users can be wrong, late or missing.
3. Assumption of risk
You are solely responsible for where you choose to park and for everything that follows from it, including citations, towing, booting, immobilization, storage fees, and any other cost or loss. Using Easy Lane does not shift any of that to us. An alert you didn't receive, or received late, is not a promise that your car was safe.
4. Not legal advice
Nothing in Easy Lane is legal advice. It is parking information, not a legal opinion, and using it creates no attorney-client relationship.
5. Signs and curb markings control
Physical signage and painted curb markings control. Where this app and the sign disagree, the sign wins, always. Read the curb before you walk away from the car.
6. Use it safely
Don't use Easy Lane while driving. Check it before you set off or after you've parked, or let a passenger use it. Obey traffic laws, police and posted signs over anything the app says.
7. Acceptable use
You may use Easy Lane through the app, our official MCP server at tryeasylane.com/mcp, the embeddable widget, and any API we publish, within the rate limits we set. When you share or display an Easy Lane answer, credit Easy Lane and link to the live page, because parking rules change with events, weather and time of day.
You may not scrape or crawl Easy Lane's pages; copy, store or redistribute its data in bulk, or use it to build a competing dataset; resell its results; get around rate limits or access controls; submit false reports or photos; send false or harassing warnings through someone's window tag; or interfere with the service for anyone else.
8. What you submit
Street reports, photos, votes and feedback you send us stay yours. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, store, copy, edit, crop, publish and display them, and to let others see them, as part of running and improving Easy Lane. You can ask us to remove something you sent at hello@tryeasylane.com.
You confirm that you took or have the right to share what you send, that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that it doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights. Don't submit photos that show people's faces or license plates. We review photos before they are public, and we may decline, edit or remove anything you submit, without notice. Reports from other users are their statements, not ours.
9. Our content and other people's
Art Tech Media Group LLC owns Easy Lane: the app, its design, code, text, scores and the way it combines data. We give you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use it under these terms. Nothing else is licensed to you.
Some data and map content belong to others, including the City of New Orleans, OpenStreetMap contributors and CARTO, and their own terms and attributions apply. Links to other services, such as parking booking sites, take you to services we don't run; their terms and prices are theirs, and we aren't responsible for them. We may earn a commission when you book through a link.
10. Tips, Easy Lane Plus and the Carnival Pass
Every parking answer in Easy Lane is free. Paying for anything is optional.
Tips. A tip is a voluntary gift to support Easy Lane, not a purchase: it doesn't buy any feature, priority, accuracy or result. On the website, tips are processed by Stripe under its terms. In the iPhone app, tips are App Store In-App Purchases processed by Apple under its terms. Tips are not refundable by us, except where the law requires it or we charged you in error; for App Store purchases, refund requests go to Apple.
Easy Lane Plus. Plus is an optional subscription in the iPhone app that adds extras described in the app at the time you subscribe, such as more saved blocks and cars. It is billed to your Apple ID at the price shown before you confirm, and renews automatically for the same period (monthly or yearly) unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your Apple ID settings. Canceling stops the next renewal; Plus stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Apple handles billing, cancellation and refunds.
Carnival Pass. The Carnival Pass is a one-time App Store purchase that gives you the Plus extras until 11:59 PM New Orleans time on Ash Wednesday of the Carnival season you bought it in. It does not renew.
Restoring and changes. You can restore App Store purchases on a new phone with "Restore purchases". We may change what Plus includes or its price; a price change for an active subscription follows Apple's rules, including its notice to you. Paying for Plus or the Carnival Pass doesn't change sections 2 to 5: alerts and answers can still be wrong, late or missing.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
EASY LANE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR TOWING, BOOTING, STORAGE, IMPOUND OR RELEASE FEES, PARKING CITATIONS OR FINES, LOST TIME, LOST EARNINGS, OR THE COST OF OTHER TRANSPORT, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO EASY LANE OR THESE TERMS.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO EASY LANE OR THESE TERMS IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF FIFTY US DOLLARS (US$50) OR THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for intentional or gross fault, for causing physical injury, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including Louisiana Civil Code article 2004.
13. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Art Tech Media Group LLC and its members, officers and contractors against third-party claims, and the resulting losses, damages and reasonable attorneys' fees, to the extent they arise from content you submit, your breach of these terms, or your violation of law or of someone else's rights. This does not cover claims caused by our own fault.
14. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Easy Lane at any time. We may suspend or end your access, block abusive traffic, or change or discontinue any part of Easy Lane, at any time and without notice, including if we believe you've broken these terms.
Sections 2 to 5, the license you gave us in section 8, and sections 9 and 11 to 17 survive termination.
15. Governing law and venue
These terms, and any dispute about Easy Lane or these terms, are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in the state courts located in Orleans Parish, Louisiana, or the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, and you and we consent to those courts. Either of us may instead bring a claim in a small claims court that has jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the version and effective date at the top of this page. Using Easy Lane after a change means you accept the updated terms. If you don't agree with a change, stop using Easy Lane. Some features ask you to agree again before you use them.
17. General
These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Easy Lane. If a court finds any part unenforceable, that part is limited to the minimum extent needed and the rest stays in effect. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours to a successor or affiliate. Questions: hello@tryeasylane.com.
